Custom watercolour portraits
Send a photo you already love. Lily turns it into a watercolour portrait in her own style, shows you a preview before anything is printed, and keeps refining it until it looks like them.
How it works
Digital file, fine art print, or framed and ready to hang. Upload up to five photos — a phone snapshot is genuinely fine.
She picks the photo that will make the strongest portrait and works it up in her watercolour style, reviewing and refining every one personally.
A digital preview reaches you in 2–3 days. Want the eyes warmer or the background softer? Say so. Revisions are free and there is no limit.
Printed on heavyweight archival paper and shipped free within the US, or delivered straight to your inbox as a high-resolution file.

The artist
I’m a watercolour painter in Charlotte, North Carolina. I spent years selling landscapes and florals at weekend markets before someone asked me to paint their dog — and I have barely painted anything else since.
What I look for in your photo isn’t sharpness. It’s the tilt of the head, the set of the ears, the particular way your dog looks at you and nobody else. That is the part people recognise when they open the package, and it is the part I will keep working on until you tell me it’s right.
Every portrait comes to you as a preview first. If it isn’t them, it doesn’t ship — and you can have your money back for thirty days, no argument and no restocking nonsense.
Nothing is printed or shipped until you have approved the preview, revisions are unlimited and free, and if the finished portrait still isn’t right when it arrives you have thirty days to send it back for a full refund.
Questions
Daylight, eye level, and close enough that you can see their face clearly. A phone photo is perfectly good. You can upload up to five and Lily will pick the one that will make the strongest portrait — if none of them work, she will email you and ask for another before starting.
Your preview arrives in 2–3 days. Once you approve it, digital files are sent the same day, and prints reach you within 4–10 days anywhere in the US.
Tell Lily what is off and she will rework it — as many times as it takes, at no cost. Nothing gets printed until you say yes, and the 30-day refund still applies after it arrives.
Yes. Upload a photo of each and add a note telling Lily how you would like them arranged. Reply to your confirmation email if you would rather talk it through first.
Regularly. The form says dog because that is most of the work, but a cat, a horse or a parrot is no problem — just add a note with your order.
A great many of these are memorials. Older or lower-quality photos are usually workable — send the best few you have and Lily will tell you honestly whether she can do it justice before charging you for anything.
It takes about two minutes to order, and nothing gets printed until you have seen it and said yes.
